Incoming Students

Summer Reception: The LC or the member university who has provided the work offer, is responsible to meet the incoming student upon arrival and guide up to the lodging. Volunteer students organize this after the intern’s arrival time is notified. The LCs also organize various social activities, city tours etc. for the incoming interns.

Lodging: The LC or the member university who has provided the work offer, is responsible to arrange the lodging for the incoming student, either a shared flat or a student dorm. Rarely, employers can help with the lodging if the student is accepted outside summer season.

The member university raising the work offer is assumed to have accepted the liability to find the lodging for the incoming student.

Visa: The students coming to Turkey under IAESTE are due to have an internship visa. The interns who will stay more than 90 days, should apply for a short-term residence permit within 30 days after their entrance to the country.
