Application for Membership

The universities should be a member of IAESTE Turkey network in order that their students benefit from the exchange program. For further information, Career Centers, International Relations Departments and/or Engineering Faculties of universities should contact IAESTE Turkey Office.

Member universities should assign an academic and/or an administrative personnel as their IAESTE Respresentative(s). In addition, they could help formation of a Student Club, which will contribute to job raising and summer reception activities for incoming students.

IAESTE Representatives of member universities are responsible for:

• Informing their students about the internship program,

• Communication and correspondence with the IAESTE Turkey Office,

• Participation at the Annual Representatives’ Meeting taking place at Istanbul Technical University,

• Organising “Foreign Language Exams” in cooperation with their university’s Foreign Language Departments,

• Preparing the candidates’ lists for IAESTE internship each year,

• Cooperation with their students to raise job offers for exchange,

• Guiding their own students for internship questions,

• Sending nomination documents of their applicant students to IAESTE Turkey Office and following the results in a cooperative way,

• Announcing the COBE/FCFS offers published by IAESTE Turkey to their students and in cooperation with the student clubs if available,

• Helping the incoming students with lodging in accordance with their universities’ regulations and/or in cooperation with their student clubs who are responsible for the offers,

• Supporting the communication with the employers for a smooth exchange period.
